The story begins with a little boy and his concerns about wearing a face mask. He asks throughout the story, “If I wear a face mask, can I still be me?” With the help of his big sister, he hopes to find the answer.

All Carrie's stories are written with a gentle lesson for children to learn, and they are a fabulous read before falling
asleep.
Post Script: I have put If You Were a Monster on temporary hold. I did this because I wanted to have this book launched sooner than later. Why? The first time I saw two of my handful of grandsons wearing face masks- my heart sunk to my feet. What a change- what were a five and seven-year-old thinking? Then my oldest grand girlie, 2020 HS graduate would soon be without prom, and possibly without a traditional graduation. At that moment I came up with the title of my next book- If I Wear a Face Mask- Can I Still Be Me?
Please be safe, be well, and be part of the plan for a healthy community again.
Carrie
